Weed Management

Weed management is at the heart of most of our services. Ensuring that a surface is weed-free is the first step in preparing ground for turf or landscaping, weeds are not only unsightly but also adversely affect the growth of other plants. As such, we take weed management seriously, either using the best pesticide or herbicide for the situation, hand-pulling weeds when required and the spraying of hard surfaces to clear them of moss.

Our weed management services include:

  • Pesticides
  • Herbicides
  • Hand-pulling
  • Hard surface spraying
  • Removal of Ragwort
  • Gutter clearance
  • Pest control

We take care to ensure that weeds are managed safely and take pride in our skills in controlling unwanted vegetation. Regardless of the scale or complexity of the issue, our skilled team have the solutions to hand.

What our clients have said

We have had nothing but positive feedback from our housing officers, surveyors and management teams and of course our residents. We are also delighted as to how many of the sites have improved during the period of this contract.

CGM have always provided us with flexible, efficient service and we have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

Instructed CGM to undertake major garden works on prestigious waterside property in Topsham on behalf of one of our landlords. Work was undertaken with professionalism and speed to a high standard so wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them.

We have occupied our current office for nearly four years and during that time CGM have looked after the gardens, car park and grounds on our behalf. CGM have always provided us with flexible, efficient service and we have no hesitation in recommending them to others.

County Grounds provided great service at a realistic price. They really know how to listen to the client, interpret what is needed and deliver the right solutions.

Having appointed CGM to undertake the work, I believe we are already seeing the benefit of an improved level of good husbandry and now feel we have a direct and responsive relationship with a contractor who is responsible for our 'front of house.
