We were tasked with replacing an overgrown, unmanaged garden patch with a high-end, structural planting solution. The client required a durable, "built to last" system that could withstand the pressure of large volumes of soil while providing a clean, architectural aesthetic.
To ensure maximum longevity and structural integrity, we moved away from traditional timber-only construction in favour of a heavy-duty hybrid design.
- Ground Preparation
The site was first cleared of dense weeds and excavated to create a level sub-base. - Framework
We used steel RSJs (Rolled Steel Joists) as the corner and mid-span supports. - Oak Sleepers
High-quality treated sleepers were cut and slotted into the RSJ channels
